JARIN BECK (OF COUNSEL)
Jarin Beck is a family law litigation attorney. His practice is centered on representing individuals in complex family law matters, particularly those involving high conflict custody disputes, business valuation and apportionment matters, support (including Marital Standard of Living analysis and Income Available for Support), among others. Jarin’s experience encompasses all facets of litigation from the initial filing through settlement, mediation, and trial.
As an attorney with a deep understanding of family dynamics and emotions, Jarin helps individuals navigate the multifaceted (and often confusing) world of family law litigation. He works closely with clients in negotiating disputes and securing successful settlements. However, if settlement appears to be unavailing, Jarin is a skilled trial attorney who knows how to take a well-prepared case to trial.
Jarin serves as a Settlement Conference Panelist for the Sonoma County Superior Court, Family Law division. He formally served as a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association’s Mental Health Liaison Committee (2015-2024), as well as a term on the Family Law Steering Committee (2019-2022).
In 2019, Jarin successfully completed the national renowned trial practice program of the National Family Law Trial Institute (Houston) and in 2024 completed their renowned Advanced Business Valuation course. In 2020, Jarin presented at the California AFCC (Association of Family and Conciliation Courts) Conference and routinely presents continuing education courses through the Sonoma County Bar Association.
Jarin is the recipient of many professional awards, including 2023 Best Attorney (The Press Democrat), 2017, 2018 and 2019 Best Civil Attorney (The Bohemian), 2021, 2023 and 2024 Best Family Law Attorney (The Bohemian), and 2022 Lawyers of Excellence (Sonoma Magazine).
Jarin also serves on the Board of Directors for the Sonoma County Children’s Museum.
Prior to joining Welty, Weaver, and Currie in 2021, Jarin was a partner with his father, Daniel Beck, in a long-time Sonoma County law firm. When not representing clients, Jarin enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, or sneaking in a round of golf with friends.
